Practical Aspects, Simulation, and Modeling of the Injection Molding Process for Thermoplastic Polymers and Their Composites
Injection molding is the most widely used manufacturing process in the polymer industry, enabling mass production of complex-shaped components with tailored properties. Optimizing this process is essential for enhancing product quality, reducing costs, and minimizing defects. Our research group conducts an in-depth study of the physical aspects of injection molding, using computational simulation and experimental characterization to analyze how processing variables influence the structure and performance of injected parts.
